I operate a one man woodworking shop in Southwest Missouri just outside of Aurora, MO. Each piece is designed, laid out, glued up, sanded, constructed and finished by me. I use a combination of power tools and hand tools to produce the best product capable. I use power tools to quickly rough dimension the lumber and then use mainly hand tools to build and finish the product.

I mill and dry all my own lumber for furniture making. In this way I have full control over the materials I use and can produce the best product available. I only use air-dried lumber versus kiln-dried lumber...I consider it superior in quality as do many of the master craftsmen today.
